Mungaru Male

Watched a Kannada movie in a theatre after a really long time. "Mungaru Male" really was like cool breeze..very very refreshing.The breath taking photography, natural comedy, well paced story and some enchanting music..perfect ingredients that have gone into the making of an almost perfect movie.









Ganesh clearly was the show stealer.. natural acting..but I thought he could do with a better wardrobe :) I mean his blue spaghetti kind of Tshirt did look a bit awkward.

Its also one of the shortest love stories ever told I guess :) It begins, peaks and ends..in all of ten days :) The story does get a bit unbelievable at times..but who cares..Just go and watch it..and then watch it again to see the glory of Jog Falls..

Am so hooked to "anisutthide yako indu .." that its constantly playing on my mind like a broken record.. nanna hesaru kooge ommeee..haage summanneeeee..lalallalal

Wow...I am amazed. Great work on this Deepa.

Here are some of the things I liked:

1> The title itself...Isnt it interesting? You guessed it right! Shot during rainy season..
2> Ganesh, very very natural acting. Even during a serious moment, he has a flick of comedy.
3> Camera work at Jog falls...no words to describe, watch it for yourself. You will want to go to Jog for your next trip after watching the movie
4> Important role of Mola Devdasa (rabbit)...see the movie and observe carefully... Many people tend to miss on this. I dont want to disclose much of it.
5> Lyrics and the music; been hearing it since last 3 months, yet not bored of it. Sonu Nigam at his best with Anisutide and title track. A sign or warning: This is very addictive


I am glad to see such a great movie been made in Kannada industry. Is it the beginning of a rebirth for the industry. I sure hope so. In all this movie rates 10/10. If you not seen it yet, your missing big time.

I know you are totally bowled by this movie..I thought ud totally lost it when you were scrapping the lyrics in orkut :) but after watching the movie I totally understand!! Lets all plan a trip to jog in june..What say?

aunty1: Node herioneuu goobe thara idale..bere yarru sikilva
aunty2: hoon kane..ee Ganesha nodu pasand agidane..
